Biography & Racing Accomplishments

Jason started driving in 1999 at the local level on a part time basis, when a substitute driver was needed.  This is where the number "99" came from, his first year to drive a race car.   After a year we got him his first race car in 2000, however we knew he needed to see a bigger picture of racing, so we arranged for him to become a volunteer member of an IRL pit crew.   He came away from this experience with his eyes open and hopes high, the experience showed him what real professional racing was all about.

He returned to racing in 2001 and by 2003 had accomplished just about everything you can at the local race tracks.  He had broken track records several time, was consistently the fast qualifier and won most races he competed in.  So in late 2003 we started putting together a Super Late Model car for the 2004 season.

At the end of his first year he qualified for only 2 races but was a promoter’s option in 3 events but he only finished one race, that's when he realized he needed to finish races if he wanted to continue to drive.  From the 2005 season until present; Jason has continued to compete in Super Late Model and Main Event Series on a limited or part time basis.  He has continues to gain experience and has become a very smooth driver.  He is respected and liked by most for his clean driving on the race track and known to be normal a top finishing car and always a threat to win any event.

In 2010 - 2013 Jason ran a very limited race schedule, however he starting building his own racing shock absorbers and he did crew chief for a couple different teams part time.  He was very successful at both shock building and as a crew chief, it showed by the way the cars performed at the races where he offered his service.  Most weekends Jason is not racing he is either performing the crew chief function or on the phone as he receives numerous calls for help on correcting handling issues.
